At 11:00 AM, Harry said...: He's coming with the Michigan Jewish Federation. Every two years they promote a "teen mission" to Israel. They'll be there for a little over a month exploring the length and breadth of the country.

My wife and I have been talking about going for years. The only thing holding us back is the cost. My parents decided that my children should go, so they put aside some money for them. So in four years my daughter will be on the same trip.

I'm sure he's going to have a great trip though. The group leaders have had meetings with the kids and the parents. Our rabbi, who will be on my son's bus for the last ten days seems more excited than the kids. He's been to Israel many times so he knows the excitement they're in for.
