Well, it seems that the terror apologists at CAIR (unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trial) don't much care for Rep. Allen West. But then, they don't care much for anybody who has the temerity to point what various imams and other members of that tiny minority of extremist blah blah blah, have been telling us for years. Mainly that Islam is on the Earth in order to subjugate all others under the flag of Islam.
Rep. West shows his leadership qualities by not only not backing down or apologizing for telling the truth, but by having the facts that he needs at his fingertips.
I don't have to tell anybody which religion I'm talking about when I say that. Even the defenders who use that as their big talking point and try desperately not to think of Islam when they try to excuse each new terror attack can't help but think of Islam, because - do I really need to say it?
Besides the fact that "they're not all terrorists" is at best, damning with faint praise, and at worst, setting the bar embarrassing low, there are other pathologies to consider. Honor killings have been imported to the United States by members of the Religion of They're Not All Terrorists. Just to keep everyone happy, please allow me to admit that not all Muslim fathers murder their daughters, even if the daughters do become too westernized.
A homicide case that drew attention to so-called honor killings moves into the trial phase this month for an Iraqi immigrant accused of killing his daughter because he believed she was too Westernized.
Faleh Hassan Almaleki, 50, faces life in prison if convicted. In October 2009, he slammed his Jeep into Noor Almaleki, 20, prosecutors said.
The woman, who longed to live a normal American life, laid in a coma for two weeks before succumbing to her injuries, which drew outrage from people nationwide.
First question for the murderer: Why move to the West if you object to your children becoming "too westernized?" Second question: Have you stopped beating your wife, or would that make you "too westernized"?
In a stunning development, the Detroit News did, near the end of the article, mention that this whole concept of "honor killing" has been brought to our doorstep by the Religion Whose Depravity is Regularly Ignored or Excused. In reviewing past murders of Muslim women by their families,
In the Dallas suburb of Lewisville, Texas, Yaser Abdel Said, of Egypt, is accused of shooting his two Texas-born teenage daughters in the back of his taxi cab in 2008 in what the FBI calls an honor killing. Family members say Said felt the girls were acting too Western and had shamed him by dating non-Muslims.
In Buffalo, N.Y., Muzzammil Hassan is accused of beheading his wife in 2009, about a week after he was served with divorce papers. The body of Aasiya Hassan was found at the offices of Bridges TV, the station the Pakistan-born couple established in 2004 to counter negative stereotypes of Muslims.
Peoria police spokesman Mike Tellef said Noor Almaleki's killing raised awareness about honor killings in the U.S.
"Raising awareness," he says. Many of us have been aware of this pathology for years. How about if our law enforcement officers and our main stream media stand up for themselves and the people who depend on them, and stop kowtowing to CAIR, the multiculturalists, and the other enemies of Western Civilization. Maybe then, we could put a stop to this madness.
This cartoon was was censored by the quislings and dhimmis at the Washington Post and lots of other American newspapers that have no problem running comics and articles that insult Christians and Jews. Suddenly though, they have developed their latent religious and cultural sensitivities. There were no protests, no threats of violence, even the folks at CAIR expressed no fuss. But, I'm sure that CAIR understands much better than the cowards in the Washington Post editorial department, that merely by asking for an opinion from the Hamas front group CAIR, that Muslims no longer have to make threats. Our MSM has surrendered. The first amendment has been replaced by Sharia law in the news room. The censorship of the cartoon proves the point of the joke, something else the dhimmis at WaPo didn't get. Repost it and pass it on.

If you truly believe that CAIR is a civil rights organization, this press release from The Law Offices of David Yerushalmi will make you sad. If, however, you live in the current reality and are not a jihadist or a jihad supporter, this release will give you hope and make you smile.
When the South Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) pressured the Miami-Dade Country Transit Authority to yank bus panel ads contracted and paid for by Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer of the Freedom Defense Initiative because the ads were “offensive to Muslims”, the two activists turned to the Law Offices of David Yerushalmi, P.C. for help. Mr. Yerushalmi joined forces with the Thomas More Law Center and the two law firms began preparing a federal complaint alleging breach of contract and violation of Ms. Geller’s and Mr. Spencer’s First Amendment Rights.
The bus ad (see pdf file above) began running on Tuesday, April 13th. Just two days later, on Thursday, after pressure from CAIR, the bus ads had already been pulled down and Mr. Yerushalmi’s clients received notice of the ad contract termination through media reports on Friday.
No, that part will not make you happy, but keep reading.
A teleconference was arranged first with the Miami-Dade County Attorney’s office, which took place Monday afternoon. After listening to Mr. Yerushalmi’s brief, the county attorneys conceded the ads should not have been pulled. By Tuesday, Mr. Yerushalmi had negotiated a full and complete retraction of the contract termination with a NY-based attorney for CBS Outdoor. Not only would the original 10 king-sized ads go back up on the Transit Authority buses, but CBS would run an additional 20 king-sized bus ads for no additional charge.
The new agreement was inked and signed by Wednesday, April 21. The ads are expected to go back up by early next week.
We can't win unless we actively and unapologetically, without fear of being a victim of name calling or character assassination, fight back. Because, as we know:
“This is not just an important day for the First Amendment. It is a ‘teaching moment’ for the media and for others in various government agencies who come across CAIR,” Mr. Yerushalmi added. “CAIR is a criminal organization with ties to Hamas and other jihadists. This is not my opinion but the considered view of the U.S. Attorney’s office, the FBI, and the federal courts, all based on evidence CAIR has never refuted. If you find yourself on the same side of an issue with CAIR, you’d better examine the facts a bit more closely. You’re likely in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood, even if only unwittingly.”
This Detroit News article actually appeared a few days after the scandal was first reported by Debbie Schlussel, who wrote,
Forget about the Constitutionally mandated separation of church and state . . . at least when it comes to mosque and state.
When students return in the fall, the University of Michigan-Dearbornistan is set to have Muslim footbaths in at least two locations.
And your tax funds are paying for it.
The News may never have brought this outrage to our attention except that,
. . . critics hit conservative blogs and radio airwaves Monday to argue public money shouldn't cover the cost.
and
A similar controversy erupted in April in Minnesota, when Minneapolis Community and Technical College officials were bombarded with thousands of angry e-mails after announcing plans to build foot wash stations.
The issue was fueled by criticism from conservative Internet bloggers. In Metro Detroit, Southfield attorney Debbie Schlussel is leading the charge against U-M Dearborn's plans, writing: "Forget about the Constitutionally mandated separation of church and state at least when it comes to mosqueand state."
because
The University of Michigan-Dearborn plans to spend $25,000 for foot-washing stations, making it easier for Muslim students to practice their religion but sparking questions about the separation of church and state.
The university claims the stations are needed to accommodate Muslim students, who must ritually wash their bodies -- including the feet -- up to five times each day before prayers.
If you read Schlussel's lengthy piece, you get a lot of needed information. She took the time to speak to some of the dhimmis responsible for this small acknowledgment of Islamic supremacy.
If you read the News article, you are left with,
The Internet has created the fuss at U-M Dearborn, argued Dawud Walid, executive director of the Michigan branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
"To my knowledge, none of the students or staff have made any complaints about the foot-washing area," Walid said.
"This whole thing came to light through some right-wing Islama-phobic bloggers that want to promulgate the idea that the university is being Islama-fied."
There we are again, if Walid isn't aware of complaints, there weren't any. And of course, if you refuse to submit to being a dhimmi, you are an Islamophobe. OK, I will try to be as Islamophobic as Debbie Schlussel. There is no future in the alternative. Give them an inch, and as we see throughout the world, they will take your freedom as an individual.
I've already written to my local newspapers and all of my elected representatives. I have yet to hear back from any of my reps. That's to be expected, Michigan is a blue state. All of my reps are Democrats.
An ordinance that bans profiling was approved Wednesday by the Detroit City Council. It prohibits police and city employees from asking about the immigration status of residents.
The council voted unanimously for the law prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, dress, physical appearance and immigration status. Under the new law, police cannot ask people for their immigration papers unless it was related to a crime.
It goes on to to discuss the fears of immigrants; that they will be hassled and inconvenienced by "The Man". And the usual pressure groups played their part.
The ordinance was introduced after talks with Latino, Arab and Muslim groups. The Detroit-based group Metropolitan Organizing Strategy Enabling Strength played a lead role in pushing for the law.
And,
Dawud Walid, head of the Michigan branch of the Council of American-Islamic Relations, said he is pleased with the council's vote. "The city of Detroit should be seen as a place that is not hostile to immigrants."
Of course, CAIR is pleased with anything that will make it easier for jihadis to come here illegally and live in the belly of the infidel beast.
The article itself was run on the back page of the Local section, down near the bottom, under the half page weather forcast. This makes me wonder if it was hidden there because the people of Detroit were probably not consulted in this unanimous decision.
CAIR Doesn't Like Christians Who Support Jews - What a Surprise!
Here's an article from the Detroit Free Press about Reverend Glenn Plummer.
One day in late July, as Hizballah rockets exploded nearby, a Redford Township pastor was in a van hurtling north to an Israeli town under siege where some Ethiopian Jews were stranded in their homes.
It was an act of solidarity between African Americans and Israel, the Rev. Glenn Plummer said. And the relationship between blacks and Jews is one the Christian minister hopes to expand with a group he cofounded this year called FIBA -- Fellowship of Israel and Black America. The Plymouth-based organization will hold a conference starting today, with a series of events in Detroit and West Bloomfield, that is expected to draw more than 2,000 African Americans and Jews from across the country.
The conference is an effort to build bridges between the two groups, which have a long history of working together on civil rights issues.
"When we needed a friend, the Jews were there," Plummer said Tuesday. "And Israel needs a friend today; the Jewish people need a friend."
At a July rally for Israel in a Southfield synagogue, the loudest cheers were not for any of the Jewish speakers, but for Plummer, who exhorted the audience to stand by Israel for moral and religious reasons.
I was at the Southfield rally mentioned in the article. Besides welcoming what Rev. Plummer said, we cheered for the way he said it. He's a very dynamic speaker. Besides talking the talk, the man obviously walks the walk.
There is one group, however, who speaks against Rev. Plummer. And you know who that is.
Some Muslims in Michigan are concerned about the conference, saying that it will be divisive.
Dawud Walid, who is African American and the executive director of the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, accuses Plummer of being anti-Muslim.
So according to the terror supporters at CAIR, if you associate with Jews, you are anti-Islamic. Once again, CAIR shows their true divisive colors. Much like Muslims around the world who are rioting because the Pope accused them of being violent. (More links for that one than you can shake a burning effigy at).
By the way, for those of you who still aren't sure about their true colors, CAIR has once again demonstrated their Jew-hatred.
Dawud Walid, executive director of the Michigan chapter of CAIR had an opinion piece in today's Detroit Free Press. Here is some of what he said:
Obviously, the delayed evacuation of primarily Arab Americans and American Muslims from these hostile fire zones invokes genuine concern, similar to that raised by African Americans after the evacuation debacle of Hurricane Katrina. Was the response delayed because of a poor contingency plan for evacuation, or was the response delayed because of who the evacuees are? Would the evacuation have been quicker for American citizens if the Israeli infrastructure had been decimated as Lebanon's currently is?
The refusal to broker a cease-fire between the involved parties in the region and the real perception of many that America dragged its feet in rescuing its own citizens are adding to the declining image and prestige of our country in the eyes of world opinion. Racial profiling, warrantless wiretapping, and now the "Katrina-like" evacuation in Lebanon only add to the sense of many that Arab Americans and American Muslims are looked upon as second-class citizens.
The government's primary mission is to protect the citizens of the United States -- both at home and abroad.
In typical CAIR fashion, he whines and moans that Arab Americans stuck in Lebanon (due to the fact that they ignored State Department warnings not to go there in the first place) were not absolved of their responsibility to keep themselves and their children safe. He's upset that they were not given special treatment by the government. The government hates them because they are Arab and Muslim. My, how sad. For more on these upstanding American citizens, check out this piece from Debbie Schlussel.
On the same page was this piece by three local Jewish leaders.
The local effects of the crisis in the Middle East are further intensified when we are assaulted by Israeli flags defaced with swastikas, read media reports of seas of people passionately championing the destruction of Israel, hear hate-filled voices echo, calling Israelis "barbaric" and "inhuman." We are confronted by the sad reality that our community's ability to engage in meaningful dialogue with large segments of the local Arab and Muslim communities has been severely damaged.
We say this with heavy hearts, as leaders of moderate organizations whose missions include building bridges with disparate ethnic and religious groups. Members of our organizations have personally reached out to, and shared meals, prayer services and work with religious leaders, community leaders and Arab Americans from all walks of life in metropolitan Detroit.
None of us would condition dialogue on an abdication of deeply held beliefs. We also recognize that Jews do not hold a monopoly on legitimate perspectives relating to Israel and its war with Hizballah. We mourn every loss of innocent life, as it is a long-standing tenet of the Jewish religion, dating back to the exodus from Egypt, not to take pleasure even in the deaths of our enemies.
Quite a difference in tone, isn't there? Go ahead. Read both articles. You'll notice the contrast beteen the two all the way through both. After you read both of them, ask yourself, which group would you trust to create peace?
Much has been made over a recent poll by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press on how people in the West and in the Islamic world view each other. For some reason, many on both sides distrust the other side. We knew that already. In the Detroit Free Press report on this poll, there was the obligatory quote from a local Muslim spokesman. After all, the Detroit area does contain the largest Muslim community in the United States so - well - you know the rest. They must have their say whenever anything happens that reflects poorly on Islam, and most of what happens these days just happens to reflect poorly on Islam. But we always get the same story.
"The report clearly shows the need for the West and the Muslim world to increase dialogue between the two civilizations," said Dawud Walid, head of the Michigan branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. "Since there is not a lot of personal contact between Americans and people in the Muslim world, both groups are primarily operating out of generalizations which they see through their respective media outlets."
Yes, that's it. We must sit down and talk. And while we are talking, Mr. Walid, I'd like to ask you some questions. Why do you excuse imams throughout the Muslim world and many right here in the West who actively promote violence? Why are Muslims never responsible for violence perpretrated by Muslims? Why is it always the fault of the Jews, Crusaders, Zionists, Neocons, West, poverty, conspiracy, misreading of the Qu'ran, misunderstandings, hijackers of a peaceful religion, all of the above, but never ever the fault of the Muslims performing the act? Why are we never to refer to "Islamic" aspect of any terror attack? When will Muslims all over the world accept responsibility for the debasement and moral illness that keeps the Muslim world lagging behind behind the Christian West, and behind Hindu India, and behind Communist(?) China, and behind tiny Jewish Israel (actually part of the West) in wealth, technology, freedom, and literacy? Why can't Muslims speak honestly about what is in the Qu'ran and the Hadiths that promote hatred of others and violent jihad?
There is a lot more on Dawud Walid and his terror supporting, Jew-hating (except for "good" Jews who hate Israel) cohort in promoting jihad Imam Mohammed Ali Elahi at Debbie Schlussel's blog. She discusses the ridiculous way CAIR would have us refer to Muslim terrorists and Muslim terrorist wannabes. And if we were good dhimmis, we certainly would do as CAIR asks.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Muslim students at Michigan State University are up in arms over an email sent to MSU's Muslim Student Association by an MSU professor. Here is the entire email as reported in the Free Press:
Dear Moslem Association: As a professor of Mechanical Engineering here at MSU I intened to protest your protest.
I am offended not by cartoons, but by more mundane things like beheadings of civilians, cowardly attacks on public buildings, suicide murders, murders of Catholic priests (the latest in Turkey!), burnings of Christian chirches, the continued persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt, the imposition of Sharia law on non-Muslims, the rapes of Scandinavain girls and women (called "whores" in your culture), the murder of film directors in Holland, and the rioting and looting in Paris France.
This is what offends me, a soft-spoken person and academic, and many, many, many of my colleagues. I counsul you dissatisfied, agressive, brutal, and uncivilized slave-trading Moslems to be very aware of this as you proceed with your infantile "protests."
If you do not like the values of the West -- see the 1st Ammendment -- you are free to leave. I hope for God's sake that most of you choose that option. Please return to your ancestral homelands and build them up yourselves instead of troubling Americans.
Cordially, I. S. Wichman, Professor of Mechanical Engineering
As usual, members of the "Religion of Peace" get extremely offended when someone points out the obvious, as Professor Wichman did. They want action taken to shut this infidel up. That's not how they phrase it of course.
"It was upsetting, yet sad" that a tenured professor could make such comments, said Dawud Walid, executive director of the council (that's CAIR ed.). "It's scary when you think about the power that this gentleman has" as a professor.
Walid said that MSU has the academic and moral obligation to publicly denounce the e-mail, conduct a formal investigation and have sensitivity training on how to deal with Muslims on campus.
The university should "strongly and publicly disassociate themselves from the statement," Walid said.
Azeez said education is most important.
"There's a bigger problem here of racism and discrimination at Michigan State University. Faculty training and sensitivity training are very important to help prevent future incidents like this from occurring," he said.
I still find it amazing that with all of the lip service paid to free speech, and open dialogue on campuses, telling the truth about Islam is still grounds for censorship. As the Free Press does correctly point out:
# Last month, University of Texas biology professor Eric Pianka's comments caused a stir after a report that he advocated death for 90% of the world's population as a means to save the Earth.
After a speech on shrinking animal habitats and the explosion of the human population, the Gazette-Enterprise of Seguin, Texas, quoted Pianka as saying that disease "will control the scourge of humanity."
"HIV is too slow," he said, adding that an Ebola pandemic could wipe out much of the human population.
University of Texas officials didn't plan to take action, citing First Amendment rights.
[ . . ]
# Earlier this year, Northwestern University engineering professor Arthur Butz came under fire for commending Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's assertion that the Holocaust is a myth. University President Henry Bienan said Butz has a right to free speech.
# Last year, University of Colorado professor Ward Churchill came under fire for an essay he wrote after 9/11, asserting that some of the World Trade Center victims were like Nazis who enabled the Holocaust. Because Churchill has tenure, his comments weren't enough to cost him his job.
See, that's all in the realm of free speech because it doesn't upset the delicate sensibilities of members of "The Religion of Peace." We are supposed to believe their official lie - uh - I mean line, that a fine, noble, and peaceful religion has been hijacked by a few misguided extremists . . .
. . . like this one. Yes! This must be one of those hijacking extremists we've heard so much about.
Oh, and look, here are a few more.
And . . . wait a minute, here are a whole mess of "extemists." They don't look very peaceful to me, but I'm not going to say anything about them because I certainly don't want to bruise anyone's feelings. For more photos of extremists, go here, and here and . . . well you get the idea. Let's be honest. There may be one or two more than a few extremists.
Grizzly Mama offers this report on a meeting she attended sponsored by CAIR-Philly at U. Penn.
Saving the best for last I present Imam Isa Abdul Mateen. What an angry man - and a man very concerned about OPPRESSION - so concerned that he shouted about it atleast twice - possibly three times. According to our vaunted Imam - all terror is justified because they are OPPRESSED! He compared beheading innocents, torching everything in sight, threatening more 9/11's, and knifing bicyclists to death to --- the Boston Tea Party. Swear to God - he did. I believe it was the Imam who quoted a Bible verse to justify blasphemers being put to death. The Imam appeared to have been followed by several bearded lackeys who stood at the back of the room and would shout out now and then in support of his position. One of them went to the microphone to challenge Dr. Rishi on his contention that Christians and Jews would make it to heaven. Dr. Rishi explained that this was not the time for theological discussions and the ladies from CAIR became very nervous with waving arms and anxious twitchings and explained that we would have to go to the next question.
Support Michael Graham against the Terror Supporters at CAIR
According to this article, Washington D.C. talk radio host has been removed from the air for speaking uncomfortable truths, uncomfortable to the terror-supporting thugs at CAIR. I've already emailed John.E.McConnell@abc.com to support Mr. Graham. It's something we all need to do, otherwise the Islamofascists at CAIR will continue to bully their critics, and take away the voices of those who expose the evil within Islam. For more information and links, go to here to The Strata-Sphere.
When the alleged Koran abuse story was posted last week on Little Green Footballs, it followed on the footsteps of another report, this one about a teenaged Muslim girl being severly beaten by her brother for dating an infidel.I left the following comment on LGF as sonofsheldon:
MEMO To: The Police From: The Muslim Community Re: Responding to crimes in the Muslim community.
If we murder our daughters, that is our business, not yours. Stay away.
In all cases of Koran desecration, real, contrived, phony, or imagined; get here NOW.
cc: to the FBI
From my point of view, that of a caring father, some in the Muslim community have their priorities mixed up.
Now we find, according to Michelle Malkin (and from today's Detroit Free Press) the whole incident was a big misunderstanding.
It turns out, you see, that the burnt Koran was left at the mosque by…a Muslim student.
According to the AP, a Muslim Virginia Tech student took responsibility saying he dropped off the burned Koran and other singed materials at the mosque, hoping "it could be given a respectful disposal." Police Lt. Bruce Bradberry reported that the student, who was not named, apparently contacted police last week, "saying he was going to be traveling abroad and didn't know what to do with the Koran, which had been burned in a 2004 house fire. The student said he placed the book and other fire-damaged materials in a bag and left the bag at the Islamic Center with a note, which apparently blew away."
Whoops.
We know that neither CAIR nor any of the other organizations representing the American Muslim community will apologize for their agonized cries of racism, islamophobia, hate crime, un-American behavior, and what ever other claims they could invent to stoke the fires of victimhood. I can live with that. They have their agenda. It's clear to anyone who will listen.
What bothers me are the infidel Americans who buy into this twisted thought process. I still don't know why so many in the MSM side with the enemy. Do they hate Bush so much that they've become irrational? Have they so lost their faith in western values and civilization that they're willing to play into the hands of an inferior, theocratic, culture that is trying to swallow us? I've read and listened to the explanations by pundits that I trust; Dennis Prager, Victor Hanson, and others, but it still doesn't make any sense.
Western civilization has given more to the world in terms of morality, wealth, and innovation than any civilization that has ever existed. No we are not perfect. There is no perfection this side of the grave. But how can people who have landed at the top in terms of wealth, quality of life, and influence embrace such a hateful regime?
As Iowahawk wrote here and especially here in two masterful satirical pieces that earned the wrath, and demonstrated the stupidity of some on the left especially at the Daily Kos:
And the next time one of you chicken martyrs puts on a keffiya and starts babbling about “solidarity with the resistance,” remember this: just because we are planning to kill you last doesn’t make you our buddy.
That doesn't sound very funny, but like the best satire, it tells the truth. And that is definitely the truth. So why don't those resentful dopes on the left get it?
"No one can find a safe way out for himself if socety is sweeping towards destruction. Therefore everyone, in his own interests, must thrust himself vigorously into the intellectual battle. None can stand aside with unconcern; the interests of everyone hang on the result." -- Ludwig von Mises
